Horrific experience with this groomer. I HIGHLY recommend avoiding for the safety of your beloved pet. Our dog, Finn, had some minor matting, nothing too... significant. After we brought him to the mobile salon and instructed the groomer as to how to cut him, the groomer decided, without our prior consent to shave him! She sent me a photo after the fact and informed me that she had to shave him. In reality, my suspicion is that she did not want to take the time and effort to properly cut him given his very minor matting and instead took true lazy route. I would not have consented to him being shaved. To make matters worse, he came back to us with severe razor burns or bruising from the restraining harness on his neck! Horrific experience. PLEASE AVOID for the safety and well being of your beloved pets!read more
ya’ll did a wonderful job grooming our rescue dog Cal. He’s a senior, arthritic, three-legged dog. I used to bring him to a groomer but it is getting tougher... to get him in and out of the car. I guess groomers all around come up with the same reason when they want to collect a quick buck and not spend time cutting the hair. Apparently this company believes appointments should be at the convenience of their groomers, not their customers. I have had numerous scheduling problems and... cancellations by them and am told they do not intend to change the way they schedule and do business. Most recently...I scheduled (well in advance) a Monday, April 4, 9:30 AM grooming appointment for our two dogs. At 8:43 AM I received a text message from the groomer, "Keala": "a pup was book uncorrectly i should be there at 10:30". All spelling and grammatical errors are hers, which should tell you something.I have explained to their scheduler, "Josh" multiple times and in great detail why the 9:30 AM time is important to us. So, following the above incident, I once again asked, "When is the next available 9:30 AM appointment?". I was advised that Thursday, April 21st was that day. I accepted the day/time and received the usual text confirmations from the company; including another on Tuesday, April 19th.On the day of the appointment, April 21st, I received a text message at 6:46 AM from Keala: "Hello this Keala first appointment canceled thi morning wondering if 8am works for you guys". Again, spelling and grammatical errors are hers. I replied, "No, I'm sorry Keala, but it has to be 9:30." She replied/lied, "I'm sorry but they put you down for 845 That was the original appointment time". I replied back, providing a copy of the company's confirmation text from Tuesday. I then, reluctantly accepted the 8:45 slot. Keala responded back, "I've reached out to the office regarding the concerns you have and and they moved you to 930". Despite the fact that they "moved me" (to the originally confirmed time), I replied back, "Then I will see you at 9:30".So, 9:30 rolls around. Then 9:45. Then 10:00 and no Keala. I called the office and again spoke with "Josh". Apparently Keala found another last minute customer and decided to simply cancel me. Josh was aware of this, but didn't feel the need to call me. So, for the second time in two weeks, I'm left with no groomer for my dogs. And Josh doesn't care. Claims it's the nature of their scheduling and the fact that their groomers are on commission and if they get a cancellation, they'll fill it however they can; even if it means cancelling or inconveniencing another customer. WTF???I have never encountered a service business this incompetent and lacking in common sense and basic customer service norms.Obviously, I am done with Happy Spa Dogs Mobile Grooming. And I am hopeful that by sharing this story, I will save others from having to endure similar aggravation.Stay far, far away from Happy Spa Dogs Mobile Grooming.read more

Needed a groomer, found happy spa dogs online, called them up and set up an appointment for grooming at my home. They showed up on time and from there it was... all downhill. I told the groomer that my long-haired Shepherd usually took a couple of hours to take care of. One hour later she said she was done, all it took was one glance at the poor animal and I could tell she hadn’t done really anything other than get her wet and put soap on her. I told her to take her back in and work on her some more five minutes later she said she was done again. After she left I brushed out a huge amount of hair and my poor dog still reeked of soap. Four days later because we couldn’t deal with the soap smell and my dog was constantly licking I called another groomer, she came out, spent the couple of hours necessary and did a great job,. And the price was way less. Unless they clean up their act I would definitely not recommend this company.read more

Multiple cancellations, multiple no-shows, horrible haircut, worst I’ve ever seen by a groomer name Michelle and she is allegedly an expert. Due to the... unprofessional and constant cancellations or no-shows, one of my two maltipoo-poo’s is severely matted and will have to be shaved now. The scheduler will say he’s sorry multiple times without offering an immediate solution, if a solution is offered, most likely there will be no follow through or honesty. The organization is less than. And trust me when I say I gave them several chances to redeem and each time they messed it up. I fired them and now we’re elsewhere. Overall bad experience.read more

This place unfortunately did not meet our standards and actually gave us the run around. I booked my two French bulldogs for a wash, de-shed and conditioning... treatment. Each dog was done under 20mins and both came back not smelling the best not to mentioned their hair (the should’ve been brushed off) was all over the place. I called and asked them if those treatments and wash typically go that quickly. They said the groomer may have not known of the service I scheduled for, so they sent someone back to re-do it. This time around they scheduled me at the wrong time and then were more than an hour late, I was almost out the door when they arrived and decided to wait. The groomer took both dogs and both came back 25mins later, the groomer stated that she completed the requested service. Two dogs under 25mins???? Yet again dogs came back not smelling very well and hair falling around them. So I am assuming de-shed wasn’t done correctly and they rushed through there baths. I emailed the rep Brett and asked for a refund of the premium service since I only received washes, I have not heard back from him. To be honest the money isn’t the issue, it’s the customer service and no follow through that truly upsets me. I would not recommend these groomers to anyone, my dogs are short hair VERY easy and have been groomed so well in the past. The only reason I tried this place is because my old groomer unfortunately closed down. Very disappointed.read more

100% the best company around!! I have a Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd and they both have different needs. Today we had them come out for the first time... and they were completely amazing with our dogs. Our German Shepherd is very nervous around people and can be protective so to be safe we muzzle him if we’re going out and they were so good and calm with him. Our groomer KIM took her time to gain his trust. She was calm, very quiet and kind with him!! I sat near the van in case she had a problem with him and I heard her speaking calmly with him the entire time. I’m super impressed and beyond thankful that they were able to fit us in!! I have called 3 times and even contacted Lindsay directly(who did say she we forward a message, I can only assume she did) and have received no call back in over a week and a half. I can’t believe in this day when communication is so simple that someone can’t call back, message, or email to inform customers. My dog is shy but playful and Lindsay said she was fantastic!!!! Horrific experience with this groomer. I HIGHLY recommend avoiding for the safety of your beloved pet. Our dog, Finn, had some minor matting, nothing too... significant. After we brought him to the mobile salon and instructed the groomer as to how to cut him, the groomer decided, without our prior consent to shave him! She sent me a photo after the fact and informed me that she had to shave him. In reality, my suspicion is that she did not want to take the time and effort to properly cut him given his very minor matting and instead took true lazy route. I would not have consented to him being shaved. To make matters worse, he came back to us with severe razor burns or bruising from the restraining harness on his neck! Horrific experience. PLEASE AVOID for the safety and well being of your beloved pets!read more

Apparently this company believes appointments should be at the convenience of their groomers, not their customers. I have had numerous scheduling problems and... cancellations by them and am told they do not intend to change the way they schedule and do business. Most recently...I scheduled (well in advance) a Monday, April 4, 9:30 AM grooming appointment for our two dogs. At 8:43 AM I received a text message from the groomer, "Keala": "a pup was book uncorrectly i should be there at 10:30". All spelling and grammatical errors are hers, which should tell you something.I have explained to their scheduler, "Josh" multiple times and in great detail why the 9:30 AM time is important to us. So, following the above incident, I once again asked, "When is the next available 9:30 AM appointment?". I was advised that Thursday, April 21st was that day. I accepted the day/time and received the usual text confirmations from the company; including another on Tuesday, April 19th.On the day of the appointment, April 21st, I received a text message at 6:46 AM from Keala: "Hello this Keala first appointment canceled thi morning wondering if 8am works for you guys". Again, spelling and grammatical errors are hers. I replied, "No, I'm sorry Keala, but it has to be 9:30." She replied/lied, "I'm sorry but they put you down for 845 That was the original appointment time". I replied back, providing a copy of the company's confirmation text from Tuesday. I then, reluctantly accepted the 8:45 slot. Keala responded back, "I've reached out to the office regarding the concerns you have and and they moved you to 930". Despite the fact that they "moved me" (to the originally confirmed time), I replied back, "Then I will see you at 9:30".So, 9:30 rolls around. Then 9:45. Then 10:00 and no Keala. I called the office and again spoke with "Josh". Apparently Keala found another last minute customer and decided to simply cancel me. Josh was aware of this, but didn't feel the need to call me. So, for the second time in two weeks, I'm left with no groomer for my dogs. And Josh doesn't care. Claims it's the nature of their scheduling and the fact that their groomers are on commission and if they get a cancellation, they'll fill it however they can; even if it means cancelling or inconveniencing another customer. WTF???I have never encountered a service business this incompetent and lacking in common sense and basic customer service norms.Obviously, I am done with Happy Spa Dogs Mobile Grooming. And I am hopeful that by sharing this story, I will save others from having to endure similar aggravation.Stay far, far away from Happy Spa Dogs Mobile Grooming.read more

Needed a groomer, found happy spa dogs online, called them up and set up an appointment for grooming at my home. They showed up on time and from there it was... all downhill. I told the groomer that my long-haired Shepherd usually took a couple of hours to take care of. One hour later she said she was done, all it took was one glance at the poor animal and I could tell she hadn’t done really anything other than get her wet and put soap on her. I told her to take her back in and work on her some more five minutes later she said she was done again. After she left I brushed out a huge amount of hair and my poor dog still reeked of soap. Four days later because we couldn’t deal with the soap smell and my dog was constantly licking I called another groomer, she came out, spent the couple of hours necessary and did a great job,. And the price was way less. Unless they clean up their act I would definitely not recommend this company.read more

Multiple cancellations, multiple no-shows, horrible haircut, worst I’ve ever seen by a groomer name Michelle and she is allegedly an expert. Due to the... unprofessional and constant cancellations or no-shows, one of my two maltipoo-poo’s is severely matted and will have to be shaved now. The scheduler will say he’s sorry multiple times without offering an immediate solution, if a solution is offered, most likely there will be no follow through or honesty. The organization is less than. And trust me when I say I gave them several chances to redeem and each time they messed it up. I fired them and now we’re elsewhere. Overall bad experience.read more

And felt thankful for the personal service. My kittie, Barrett, came back, after Angela groomed him, free from his snarls & his long fur. Because I use a cane now, it was difficult for me to handle my dog, the leash, and the cane at the same time. So, for me, it is about convenience. Our dog Jake has anxiety and we tried 3 groomers. None of them could get him to relax and he kept coming home ungroomed. After 3 months we called happy spa and... explained. This place unfortunately did not meet our standards and actually gave us the run around. I booked my two French bulldogs for a wash, de-shed and conditioning... treatment. Each dog was done under 20mins and both came back not smelling the best not to mentioned their hair (the should’ve been brushed off) was all over the place. I called and asked them if those treatments and wash typically go that quickly. They said the groomer may have not known of the service I scheduled for, so they sent someone back to re-do it. This time around they scheduled me at the wrong time and then were more than an hour late, I was almost out the door when they arrived and decided to wait. The groomer took both dogs and both came back 25mins later, the groomer stated that she completed the requested service. Two dogs under 25mins???? Yet again dogs came back not smelling very well and hair falling around them. So I am assuming de-shed wasn’t done correctly and they rushed through there baths. I emailed the rep Brett and asked for a refund of the premium service since I only received washes, I have not heard back from him. To be honest the money isn’t the issue, it’s the customer service and no follow through that truly upsets me. I would not recommend these groomers to anyone, my dogs are short hair VERY easy and have been groomed so well in the past. The only reason I tried this place is because my old groomer unfortunately closed down. Very disappointed.read more
